Obergurgl/Hochgurgl - Diamant of the alps

Top Quality Skiing is the name of the Obergurgl and Hochgurgl Ski Lift Company.

Since the winter season 1997/98 this 8-person gondola connects the ski areas of Obergurgl and Hochgurgl within a short eight-minute ride. The 3.6km long gondola features 50 cabins and has an hourly capacity of 1,200 persons. High above Königstal and Verwalltal valley skiers can admire the stunning Alpine scenery and the surrounding glaciers while enjoying a unique ride with this panoramic gondola.

Powder snow or crunching corn snow during late spring - The 110km slopes in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl are always perfectly groomed, also thanks to the modern snow-making facilities.

Due to its high-altitude location snow is almost guaranteed in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl. Just to be on the safe side, more than 99 % of all slopes in both ski areas are equipped with artificial snow-making systems (since the winter season 1999/2000). Therefore, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl ranks among the top ski resorts where snow is always available in abundance.

Dynamic pricing - The earlier the cheaper!
From the coming 2020/21 winter season onwards, a new skipass price system will be launched for the Sölden + Gurgl ski areas. Therefore the skipass rates are no longer fixed as before but depend on the season time, date of purchase and demand.
According to the motto "The earlier the cheaper!", the new dynamic price model offers attractive rates (up to -20%) in advance, rewarding all those who secure their favorite skipass period in the online ski ticket shop weeks or months in advance.
Up to 5 days before the first validity day of the skipass, the ski ticket will always be cheaper in the online ski ticket shop, afterwards (from 4 days in advance) the cash desk price also applies in the online shop.
